2. - Judging the conditions and wind awareness.
   
3. - Easy Uphauling: getting the sail out of the water.
   
4. - Secure Position: maintaining a stable start point on the board.
   
5. - Self-Rescue: being able to get back to shore in an emergency.
   
6. - Static turn: a simple way to turn the board 180 degrees.
   
7. - Sailing position: time to catch the wind and sail away!

1. - Sailing directions relative to wind directions.
   
2. - Steering: using the sail to make subtle changes in direction.
   
3. - Tacking: making progress upwind by turning through the wind.
   
4. - Gybing: making progress downwind by turning away from the wind
