We looked at several other kite surfing schools before choosing Windchimes as the best option in Mui Ne. Until you start learning you dont realize how important it is to have a long stretch of beach to learn on while you are being blown down wind and down the beach (*which takes no time at all). Windchimes has the longest stretch of beach for learning with the most staff out of all of the other schcols on the beach, and they are always watching out for you. Safety was our number one concern, while my wife and I learned this awesome sport and we always felt safe.We planned on staying one week and ended up in Mui Ne for two months! It is a great vibe at the beach hut withmany international travellers and lots to talk about. All the kiting gear was up to date, they were able to accomodate speaking many different languages well and everyone was very friendly and professional. Thank you Trang and all of the staff at Windchimes! We hope to come back and visit again.Stan & Sarah

| Hi Trang, this is my sixth trip back to Windchimes. I really like it that you have so many size boards & kites to choose what is the right gear for the conditions. Your staff are super helpful and friendly. Id like to thank a couple of your instructors, Thomas & Phillipe and your local staff for having a great attitude, particularly Xuan, Nam, Tam, Tien, Tien and Tai.Your school has a very positive approach to safety which I really appreciate. Although I have not used it lately, I feel a lot safer knowing that theres a jet ski rescue available should I need it. Altogether it is great value for money.Thanks for your hospitality. Im looking forward to my next visit. |

I recently spent two weeks in Mui ne with Windchimes they are far and away above all the other schools on the beach for several reasons.
Firstly they are the only school with any beach reserved for their use only,
secondly they are the only school that rents equipment and ther instructors are friendly and efficient they want you to get up and ride, they are the only school to enforce a helmet, board leash and life jacket when your in the water so you dont waste hours trying to retrieve your board whilst learning.
If thats not enough you can have a cold beer between sessions you are also assisted in getting ready by two lovely ladies....

Rented last week my gear with Windchimes, which was recommended by a friend and I have to say, the service, quality of the staff and equipment was incredible. This is the best place to go in mui ne when you want to have lessons or just rent gear. Very good price to quality!

Kitesurf school is fantastic; very professional; the location on the beach is excellent. Very friendly vibe at the school. Plus Mui Ne is really a nice little town.
I've also been quite impressed with the personal attention extended by the Windchimes' team on multiple level when came time to rent the equipment and practice what I learned - They set-up the right kite/board for us depending on wind condition, they have so many beach boys to help with launching/landing, Trang provided constant tips/advice throughout my stay which sped up my learning curve (this alone was worth the price). All this minimized wasted time/energy and got me from barely getting up on the board to practically staying upwind within 3 days.. just need to do it consistently now!
Thanks for everything Trang - Can't wait to go back!

| kann man die Kite Schule bezeichnen. Ich habe in Mui Ne meinen Urlaub verbracht und wollte schon immer in den Wassersport einsteigen. Dank der Vielseitigkeit der Sprachen von den Instruktoren, habe ich mich dann entschlossen hier Kiten zu erlernen (meine Englischkentnisse sind als nicht so perfekt zu bezeichnen). Ich habe es nicht bereut, den sowohl die Crew als auch die Gegend sind perfekt für Anfänger und Profis.Ein großes Dankeschön an meinen deutsch (österreichisch :-D ) sprechende Lehrer Daniel, der viel Geduld hatte und einen immer wieder aufbauen konnte. | Spent another week at Windchimes - my fifth time. There are many good reasons I go back, the main things include-Windchimes cater for the full range: whether you are a complete beginner who needs all the gear and lessons, or an advanced rider who wants to have quality service of attentive beach boys and an excellent station. A huge range of gear - harnesses, impact vests, helmets, kites, boards, the works.Safety: the owner Mr Trang, the instructors and beach boys pay very close attention to safety. A jet ski on-hand for rescue gives great peace of mind. Service - from meet & greet at the airport to Wifi access and a much needed free-flow water cooler at the kite station, Windchimes provides the best. The current international instructors, Philippe and Thomas, together with their local counterparts are friendly, patient and very considerate. I like the way everyone is welcome regardless of skill level and no matter how long it takes you to progress. Mui Ne has a wide safe beach, clean water and consistent wind. There are very few obstacles (a few fishing boats & buoys further out) making it a very safe environment. I can highly recommend Windchimes. There are some great places all around Mui Ne for your budget of accommodation, superb food, cheap massage and nice spots to hang out. Ive met some real nice folks here too. |

| Ha das waren mal wieder tolle Ferien. 12 Tage MuiNe mit viel Kitesurfen. Nach ein paar Tagen bin ich schon Upwind gefahren und nach einer Woche habe ich schon die ersten Sprünge gemacht. Die Leute von Windchimes sind einfach grossartig. Immer sehr hilfsbereit und machen auch keinen Ärger wenn man einen Kite zerfetzt... Danke nochmals dem ganzen Team und freue mich schon bald wieder nach Vietnam zu reisen. Stay tuned on the wind side of life________________________________________Ha those were great times back vacation. MuiNe 12 days with a lot of kite surfing. After a few days I have driven upwind and after a week Ive already made their first jumps. The folks at Windchimes are simply great. Always very helpful and make no trouble when they shredded a kite ... Thanks again for the whole team and I look forward to traveling to Vietnam again soon. Stay tuned on the wind side of life |

| By coincidence I found the Windchimes. When I arrived at the school the first time, Trang, the owner explained me everything about how they teach, the costs, possibilities for rental and so on. Already after a short time I decided that I’ll have my Kitesurfing lessons at Windchimes! Tam was my Kitesurfing teacher and was able to teach me with his professional manner the essential basics within five ours. After that I was already ready for takeoff. Unfortunately the wind was after this basic course were too weak. During low season there is no guaranty for wind. But this is wasn’t really a problem you only have to consider the 4 C’s which Trang invented! Ask him about it! The nice thing about Windchimes is, that they really care about you and treat you individually, which was quite important to me. And even if there is no wind (low season), there are many other things to do at Windchimes. For example you can play soccer with these guys, or play Chinese Chess, have interesting conversations while enjoying a nice meal, go for a drink etc. Even when the lesson are finished and you start renting their material (Kite), Windchimes care the whole time about you and tell you continuously how you can improve to become even better!! | We arrived in Mui Ne to try kitesurfing, after chatting with Trang we were sold and ended up staying 10 days, and kitesurfing for most of them!!! The Windchimes crew are the best on the beach. Trang and his staff are awesome. And the best thing of all is that we both got up kitesurfing - so went away soooo happy with ourselves. We HIGHLY recommend this company for all levels of kite surfers.....its awesome for beginners (thats what we were) and Ollie and Trang were great instructors. Thanks for a fantastic night out too!! | Jan/ Feb 2011It was a fantastic stay at the Saigon Mui ne Resort next to the Windchimes station. We came for Windsufing and had 10 days of wind in 2 weeks. The Shorebreak is not easy to handle, but we had the best support from the Windchimes staff. The service at the station was very good. Thanks a lot to Xuan and Trang. | Back in February of 2009, my sister and I decided to visit Mui Ne. Initially we were not going to stay long, but after seeing all the colourful kites flying in the sky - a sight that took my breath away - there was no way we were leaving without trying kitesurfing. So we decided to stay a week, and we decided to take lessons from Windchimes - BEST DECISION EVER! :D Though my sister and I are both avid snowboarders, the idea of kitesurfing was still intimidating at the time. But the staff at Windchimes, especially Trang and our instructor Thomas, were super encouraging and friendly and patient and professional - they instantly made us feel like we were a part of something really cool and special. My sister and I took the 2 hour land + 8 hour water lesson, and by the end we were both up on a board - GREATEST RUSH OF MY LIFE! :D I would like to THANK everyone at Windchimes for making our experience at Mui Ne really really special, and one that well definitely never forget! | Me and my girlfriend wernt planning on doing any kitesurfing during our short stay in Mui Ne, however got chatting to the guys at Windchimes and decided to get a 3 hour lesson (having already had a few hours theory). They were really friendly and great instructors and had us up and going really quickly. Loads of extra free theory tuition back on land which was really useful. Rented equipment from them the next day, and again got excellet service and lots more tips! Could not reccomend Windchimes enough, we will definately be back..... Thanks everyone!Luke and Jess! |

| When planning our kitesurfing trip to Mui Ne we decided to stay this March for 3 weeks with our own kitesurf equipment at the Windchimes center as we googled much about Mui Ne and this place was always mentioned to be the best place, best kitesurf station and most beautiful beach area of Mui Ne...and so it was!!! Great service – Trang, Etienne and his team arranged everything we needed – comfortable storage for our equipment, getting a rescue immediately by jet ski when one of our kite collapsed on the sea becaof a broken vent, they repaired the broken vent immediately, the helpful hands each day of the beach boys and last but not least we were invited one day by Trang to join the 12 km down winder to the city of Phan Thiet – and this kite trip was really awesome! We were totally inspired! So if you have the chance...just do it! Conclusively we would like to mention the amazing kitesurfing area at the windchimes center – wind blowing all day long, cool waves and an amazing shore break on really windy days giving you a great opportunity to ride the waves or just enjoy watching all members of the Windchimes team nearly touching the sky by their phenomenally high jumps.Thumbs up for Trang and his team!!! And we will come back – that’s for sure!! |

| Have spent two weeks at Windchimes spread over two trips. Of the five kite schools I have visited in Asia, this is by far the best: best kit best instruction best site solid safety very laid back and relaxed...its all about fun. Oh and the super reliable wind.Trang is fantastic and has helped me with transport, accommodation, and countless tips on my kiting.Am planning my next trip to Windchimes, noted the new site, and wanted to drop a comment to say hello, recommend the school and see you soon. | Wir waren von Mitte bis Ende April 2010 in Mui Ne Vietnam zum kiten. Die Kiteschule Windchimes, bei der wir zum Teil Kurse belegt, wie auch Storage und Rescue gebucht haben ist einsame Spitze! Die Crew ist super freundlich, immer hilfsbereit - jeder hat ein wachsames Auge, steht stehts hilfsbereit zur Verfügung und unterstützt mit einem freundlichen Rat wenn man nicht weiter weiß. Dank der hochqualifizierten Lehrer die einen immer zu motivieren wissen, findet man den Weg aufs Brett und Upwind-Kurs sehr schnell (Danke an Seppi und Trang!!!) Wir freuen uns auf unseren nächsten Tripp nach Mui Ne im Dezember 2010 und sind ganz klar froh, wieder im Windchimes zu sein! Ciao Enzo |
